Twink (Verified Buyer)@Amazon.comRight out of the box, the phone comes in well packaged and already has a case cover and a screen protector on it, plus there is a standard wall charger in the box.
The build quality on it is premium and doesn’t feel cheap in any way or form. The back is glass with shiny chrome metal around. The buttons are also very conveniently placed and easy to use.
The touch screen itself is bright and very responsive, it took me all about 5 mins to set up the phone with the T-Mobile network and I was good to go. The screen is bright and the colors on it crisp with high contrasting. The OS on it is also very fast and responsive and switching between apps or sifting through web pages carries little to no lag time.
The camera on it is also surprising good and well complemented by the OS, the shutter speed is fast and it takes crisp and clear images with little to no noise. A great feature to have on a budget phone I think.
The battery on it is also decent and for me, it lasts an entire workday before I have to plug in into the charger. I would consider myself to be a normal user, who only uses a few apps, most checks on emails and message, and makes a few calls during the day. It does come with the fast charging option, so the battery does fill up fairly quickly once you plug it in.
Connectivity on it is also good, and I have had no instance of call dropping or poor sound quality on this phone at all over my T-Mobile Network.
I would certainly give this phone a thumbs up and sure, if you’re looking for a budget phone that looks and feels premium and functions well, this is something to consider.

The photo quality, while not being the best, is good (which is more than enough for a guy who doesn’t use my phone as a social media device)! It runs most games on it very smoothly and I love the quality of the screen! There are some issues with it however, and maybe it’s just mine, but it could happen to others. The speaker on the phone isn’t very good, which sorta surprised me, seeing as it was advertised with amazing stereo sound (I’ll get into that in just a second) but it’s not my biggest complaint. The stereo sound, which it does have, doesn’t seem like it’s stereo. I have to cover the main speaker to even hear the little earpiece speaker, which could be an issue for some games that rely on that stereo speaker.
My biggest problem however, is the screen locking. No matter what I do in settings, my phone locks within 15 seconds of anything loading or just me keeping the screen or when I’m thinking of something, unless I actively tap it to make sure it doesn’t. Understandably, these could all be due to the software or the cheapness of the phone, which I have no problem with, but with that all being said, I do truly love this phone, so it gets a 4/5 stars from me 🙂
Tim Schmid (Verified Buyer)@Amazon.com…..Conclusion: This is still a nice phone for the money but given the battery issue — if you don’t need every fancy feature — there are options from Huawei and Xiaomi with nicer displays for slightly more money. On the other hand, if one Umi’s specs is essential for you, you could suck it up and stay near a plug or carry charging bricks.
